Overview
What's Happening!! is a classic American sitcom that captivated audiences on ABC from August 5, 1976, to April 28, 1979. Originally debuting as a summer series, it quickly gained popularity, prompting its return as a weekly show in November 1976 following a string of network flops. Despite modest ratings, the series maintained a loyal following until its conclusion in 1979. Loosely inspired by the film Cooley High, also penned by Eric Monte, the sitcom highlights the everyday lives and comedic misadventures of a group of friends navigating adolescence.
