Mayoral hopeful Oliver Douglas finds himself challenged when the women of Hooterville decide to nominate Lisa as a candidate. Meanwhile, the men devise strategies to enhance Oliver's reputation, but Ralph Monroe resorts to underhanded tactics, including sneaking pancake batter into Oliver's hat and staging a surprise appearance by Lady Godiva to undermine him.
