Strapped for cash and struggling to stay afloat, The Aquabats seek a chance to reclaim their superhero status and boost sales of their excess merchandise. Just as they search for a way to make a comeback, a menacing alien invasion led by the evil Space Monster "M" takes down the city’s more skilled superhero teams.
