A series of thefts has struck the town, and with the local police station shuttered, the prominent figures of Middleton, led by Mr. Chukky Chicken, Barry Wilkes, are eager for Crabbe to track down the culprit, widely suspected to be the young Karl Elves, known as 'Pikey'. However, much to their frustration, Crabbe's focus is less on the elusive thief and more on his passion for pike fishing.
