Episode Overview

Henry and Margaret enjoy a day at the races alongside her new client, Bob Bishop, who is fighting off a takeover of his cider brewery. As they mingle, an enigmatic figure begins to follow Henry. Chaos ensues when the body of stable worker Ben Tucker is discovered inside a horse trailer. Tensions rise with Bob's brother Tony, owner of the struggling stables, who reacts coldly to Henry's inquiries. The previous night, Ben had quarreled with fellow stable hand Jerry Lawless over jockey Jude O'Brien, only for Jerry to end up dead as well. Bob's daughter Liz, another jockey, is later found in Jerry's caravan with a stash of cash.
