Zorro S02E09 - Ambush

Episode Overview

Joaquin, feeling betrayed by the shattered truce, believes Diego is untrustworthy and thinks he would have met his end if not for Zorro's intervention. When Diego and Bernardo arrive at his camp to clarify the situation, Joaquin commands his men to imprison them in leg irons until he determines their fate. He reveals his intention to assassinate the governor during his visit to a nearby shrine the following day. However, as Joaquin attempts to leave for the shrine, he is inadvertently captured by Sergeant Garcia.
