Episode Overview
Pete and Quince come across a young boy named Davey Colby, who claims that Indians murdered his father and grandfather and abducted his mother. He’s on a journey to find his uncle in Eberle, but Favor is skeptical of his story, noting that there haven't been any reported Indians in the area. The sheriff from Kimble County confirms that there are no Colbys in Eberle and no Indians within a hundred miles. Favor suggests to Pete that some kids invent stories. Davey insists he left home to find his father, a bounty hunter. Favor instructs Pete to take him back to his mother. After a few failed escape attempts, they arrive at Davey's house, only to find the door locked. When Davey knocks, a woman claims she doesn’t recognize him.
