Episode Overview

Detective Bell’s girlfriend, Chantal, becomes the victim of an assault, and shortly afterward, her ex-husband is found dead in what Holmes and Watson determine is a faked suicide. This leads them to investigate a single suspect tied to both incidents. Meanwhile, as Bell grapples with the temptation to take matters into his own hands for Chantal's sake, Sherlock uncovers a painful truth about Bell's history.
