Stella
Overview
Stella, a comedy series created by and featuring Michael Ian Black, Michael Showalter, and David Wain, aired on Comedy Central from June to August 2005. Drawn from their sketch comedy roots as part of the 1997 troupe, the show garnered a dedicated fanbase, performing to sold-out crowds nationwide. Despite its unique humor, Stella was short-lived, concluding after just ten episodes before being replaced by Mind of Mencia. Official cancellation was announced in March 2006, but the first season was later released on DVD and remains accessible on platforms like iTunes and Hulu. The show also found an audience in Australia in 2007.
