Episode Overview
Donna decides to take a semester off to pursue becoming a debutante in Houston. Meanwhile, Kelly realizes Donna is using her mother as a shield to avoid facing David. Brandon attempts to share the news about his relationship with Kelly to a drunken Dylan but loses his nerve. Nat accidentally spills the beans to Dylan, leading him to crash an event hosted by Felice, where he and Brandon end up in a fight. Kelly visits Dylan’s house to talk things over but finds him with another girl. After her mother makes a fuss about her dancing with D'Shawn, Donna rethinks her debutante plans. Dylan apologizes and agrees to join her for registration but ultimately doesn't show. Andrea struggles with the idea of leaving Hannah at the campus daycare. Clare enrolls at California University as a sophomore due to her AP credits, while Josh convinces Brandon to run for student body elections alongside him.
