Episode Overview
After the leader of a notorious crime family is killed, Lenny pays a visit to his successor, Jude Cassidy, who is secretly working with the police. Lenny aims to convince Jude to accept police protection, especially since Jude and his partner have recently been cleared of charges related to the murder of a young black man. This murder has spurred the victim's cousin, Elviss Gilroy, to seek revenge. After some hesitation, Jude agrees to go into hiding, with the reluctant assistance of John Mercer. Mercer leaves Calum to keep an eye on Jude while he visits his sister Jess. Stuck in the cramped flat, Jude's true colors quickly surface as he begins to provoke Calum about his mother. Soon, Mercer receives a frantic call from Calum, who has reacted violently to Jude's taunts, leading to dire consequences.
