This experience sparks Marlon's interest in pursuing an acting career, much to Shawn's dismay, who considers the idea absurd and impractical. However, Pops encourages Shawn to support Marlon rather than undermine his ambitions. Channeling the frustration from his argument with Shawn, Marlon delivers a powerful audition performance and secures a scholarship.
