Overview
Set between 1937 and 1947, The Cazalets follows the lives of a wealthy family navigating the complexities of their privileged existence. Much of the story unfolds in London and on their expansive estate in Sussex. This drama draws inspiration from Elizabeth Jane Howard's novels, with adaptation by screenwriter Douglas Livingstone. Originally produced by Cinema Verity for BBC One, the series can now be found on DVD.
