Episode Overview
Greg shares exciting news about a potential promotion to Executive Director of Business Affairs, moving up from his current role as Executive Manager. With his colleague Stuart also vying for the position, Jimmy suggests that Greg should charm their boss to secure the job. Although hesitant, Greg finds the perfect opportunity when he attends Jimmy’s softball game and unexpectedly runs into Mr. Savitsky. After Jimmy hits a game-winning home run, Greg is awarded the promotion. Annoyed by Jimmy's boastful claims about his contribution, Greg questions Savitsky about the reason for his advancement. Savitsky affirms Greg's hard work, but later recalls the significance of Jimmy's home run. Embarrassed, Greg fibs to Jimmy, claiming Savitsky dismissed the home run's influence, only for Jimmy to playfully act as if he’s defeated before revealing that Savitsky indeed acknowledged it.
