Episode Overview
Yuki and Yuno unleash chaos, insisting that Balks release their friends and take his own life. In response, Balks barricades himself inside a vault at Yuno's parents' bank, which only he, Yuno's parents, and the genuine Yuno can access. Meanwhile, Uryu, realizing that Yuki can't eliminate Balks for her, sets off to find him. As she tracks him down, she shares her tragic childhood, having lost her parents in the Middle East and living in constant danger. Meanwhile, Yuno frees Yuki's friends and aims to kill Kamado but is confronted by Aru. In a gripping confrontation between Uryu and Yuki, Uryu recognizes her innocent younger self in Yuki and allows him to shoot her. She then willingly destroys her diary to trigger a bomb meant to blow open the vault door for Yuki, but the explosion fails to breach it. Yuno shows up, sends Yuki to obliterate HOLON
