A husband who enjoys a swinging lifestyle is unwilling to part ways with his mistress, leading him to strangle his wife. To create an alibi, he manipulates the time of death using an air conditioner, making it appear she was murdered while he was out on a hunting trip. However, his plan unravels when a plate of linguine, an observant teenager who overhears his conversation, and a suggestion for a movie expose the truth.
