**Title: Michelle / Austin** **Plot:** Michelle, a young lesbian, struggles with a painful past marked by her father's abandonment and a traumatic experience with a stranger. Bullied throughout middle school and recently heartbroken, she spirals into heroin addiction and is in dire need of help. Initially shocked by the sight of her friends gathered for an intervention, she walks away but eventually returns when someone reaches out to her. With a glimmer of hope, Michelle consents to enter treatment. Meanwhile, Austin turns to alcohol after losing his stepfather to the same addiction. With his girlfriend expecting a baby, he realizes his excessive partying must come to an end. At first, he storms out upon discovering the intervention, but the interventionist follows him and persuades him to listen. After an emotional appeal from his younger sister leaves both in tears, Austin finds the strength to agree to seek help.
