South Pacific, a captivating nature documentary from the BBC Natural History Unit, debuted on BBC Two on May 10, 2009. This six-part series explores the diverse ecosystems of the South Pacific islands, including stunning coral atolls and New Zealand, all captured in high-definition. Narrated by Benedict Cumberbatch, the show was co-produced with the Discovery Channel and filmed over 18 months across remote locations like Papua New Guinea, Palau, and Vanuatu.
