Eustace and Preston begin an essential deer hunt, but their plans are disrupted by unexpected loud visitors. Over in the Yaak Valley, Tom receives a call from his friend Tim about a beaver issue, which gives him the chance to impart a valuable lesson. In Maine, Charlie and Jim venture onto a frozen river to cut out hefty 100-pound ice blocks for Charlie's root cellar.
