Liam and Augur find themselves in a parallel dimension after Doors sabotages their shuttle flight. Captured by Maiya, they are escorted to her Imerian Resistance camp, where they begin to encounter alternate versions of familiar faces. Meanwhile, the counterpart Taelons seize control of the colony and transport everyone to the mothership.
