S01E22 Like Father, Like Daughter
Episode Overview
Aura, Ming's estranged daughter, crash-lands her ship on Monitor and alerts the Defenders about her father's plan to enslave humanity using his Mind Neutralizer. Flash, a former ally of Aura, who once saved her and her husband Barin from Ming's wrath, joins her, Rick, Jedda, and L.J. on a mission to Grand Junction. Upon arrival, they find the city’s officials already under Ming’s control, revealing Aura's thirst for revenge. As Mandrake, the Phantom, and Lothar race to help, the Defenders manage to escape and reveal to Aura that she’s being manipulated by Ming. After a brief capture, Mandrake and Lothar, with the Phantom, work to reverse Ming's device just in time, freeing everyone from his hypnosis, while Flash and the others head to an alien planet to rescue Barin.
