Meanwhile, Kathleen stumbles upon a miraculous event at the church— a statue begins to sweat. The news spreads rapidly, drawing crowds, and Peter grows wary of those benefiting from the spectacle: Assumpta thrives at the pub, Padraig lands a news scoop, and Liam and Donal's fast-food truck sees booming sales, while Father Mac enjoys the surge in donations. Padraig also investigates Brian's secretive land dealings with Eamonn, which include requests for two access roads. Eventually, it's revealed that the statue’s “miracle” is simply chip fat, leading Peter to confront Liam and Donal about their exploitation of the church.
