Kathleen and her sons, Billy and Joe, journey to Santa Fe in search of a better life. Although they face numerous challenges, Kathleen encounters a man who seems to offer hope for a brighter future. However, as their relationship develops, she discovers that he brings more trouble than she ever anticipated, complicating their lives even further.
