Blade of the Immortal
Overview
Manji, a rough and brutal samurai, possesses a unique curse—he cannot die. This immortality, bestowed upon him by the nun Yobikuni as retribution for his violent past, has left him disillusioned and longing for an end. To free himself from this relentless existence, he must hunt down and kill 1,000 malevolent souls. As he traverses Japan, Manji confronts the darkness within humanity, seeking redemption through each defeated foe while grappling with his desire for peace and mortality.
