Episode Overview
Whitley’s father visits and takes her out for dinner, where he expresses his frustration with her lavish spending and decides to revoke her credit cards. He will only contribute to her tuition and essential living costs moving forward. Desperate, Whitley pleads with Jaleesa to allow her to stay in her apartment, even though she struggles to pay her share of the rent and utilities. Feeling sorry for herself, Whitley laments that everyone has turned their back on her. Meanwhile, Kinu spots Dwayne attempting to comfort her. Freddie thinks Kim is overdoing it with her studies for the medical school practice exams. She manages to lure Kim away for a break at Ron's fraternity party, where Kim plays a prank on Freddie, pretending she flunked the test due to fatigue, only to later reveal she scored 88 out of 90.
