Episode Overview
After a colleague leaves her workplace, Vanessa anticipates a promotion, but when that doesn't happen, she demands a better position and ends up getting fired. Faced with unemployment, she starts searching for a new job, while Mark worries he might have to live in his car if she doesn’t find something before their mortgage payment is due. Eventually, Vanessa lands a job as a waitress at a Chinese restaurant, but struggles with the role, even causing the cook to quit. Mark steps in, but it doesn't go well. Vanessa gets fired again but manages to gather the mortgage payment through blackmail after finding a cockroach.
