Episode Overview

The Cat in the Hat leaves Little Cats A, B, and C in charge of a clever storytelling machine. When they put in a backscratcher, it tells how the Grinch and his dog Max first became friends. Then they insert a half-eaten cake and hear about Alvin, a kind alien from Malamaroo. Alvin is wonderfully sweet, but he drives Jane, Junior, and Thidwick up the wall because he never finishes anything he begins — including his journey back home!
