In November 2004, when court clerk Peter Porco fails to show up for work, a courts officer is dispatched to check on him at his home in Bethlehem, NY. Upon arrival, he discovers the brutal scene: Peter has been murdered, and his wife Joan is clinging to life after a horrific assault with a fireman's axe. As the investigation unfolds, a DNA sample could provide crucial evidence to identify the perpetrator.
