As the editor of Modern Skeptic, a magazine devoted to debunking myths and investigating conspiracies, Hank’s life takes a dramatic turn when Laila uncovers an antique clock at a flea market in Brooklyn—one that holds secrets beyond mere timekeeping. With the assistance of FBI Agent Rebecca "Beck" Riley and his two young staffers, Rachel and Arron, Hank embarks on a quest to rescue Laila, only to discover they’re entangled in a conspiracy far larger than they ever imagined.
