Episode Overview

Chiaki is frantic to switch from piano to conducting, but the legendary (and terrifying) Franz Stresemann flatly denies his request. In a bizarre twist, Stresemann instead assembles a ragtag group of castoffs and failing students—including Chiaki and Nodame's new friends, the lively Mine Ryutaro and the intense Okuyama Masumi—to form the chaotic Orchestra S. Chiaki is forced to play along, caught between his ambition and Stresemann's unpredictable whims.
