Unlike secluded western retreats, the Wat Svay compound sits at the heart of the community, bustling with activity. Yet, the serene presence of nature remains close by. A lively pigeon roost perches atop the pagoda, surrounded by intricate carvings of protective serpent figures known as "nagas."
