Blinky and his friends discover a hot-air balloon stuck in a tree and manage to free it. As they float away, they eventually reach Greenpatch, but struggle to land safely. Meanwhile, Mr. Wombat finds Blinky's message and organizes a rescue team. Ms. Magpie takes to the skies to help guide them down. With her assistance, they safely exit the balloon, and the group is joyfully welcomed back to Greenpatch with a festive celebration.
