Overview
Four American girls from affluent yet newly wealthy families face challenges as they attempt to infiltrate New York's elite society. Guided by Laura Testvalley, their governess, they embark on a London season, ready to charm the unsuspecting English aristocracy. As they navigate this foreign social landscape, each girl finds a suitor, but Nan, the youngest, captures the heart of the dashing and wealthy Julius, Duke of Trevennick. However, their romantic ideals are quickly shattered as they realize that the English upper crust is far from the fairy tale they envisioned.
