Overview

Xavier Lombard, a jaded private investigator living in London, has fled his home city of Paris. His closest companion is Nathalie, an upscale escort. When he receives a distressing call from an old friend in the Paris police force—now a businessman—Xavier is drawn into a troubling case involving the disappearance of his friend’s brother-in-law. Despite the objections of the missing man’s wife, the family hires Xavier, plunging him into a dark underworld linked to child exploitation and human trafficking, forcing him to confront deep-seated evils.
