Angela's life changed forever at age eight when the first McDonald's arrived in East Berlin. Growing up amid a wave of political disillusionment, she grapples with the feeling of being born "too late." While her family has deep activist roots, her sister opted for a path in business, and her mother abruptly retreated from political engagement, seeking solitude in the countryside.
