Overview

As 1942 draws to a close, soldier Lombos (Gábor Makray) yearns to reunite with his wife, serving loyally on the Eastern Front. However, a scheduling mix-up strands him far from home, plunging him into a nightmare. A multilingual teacher turned soldier, he is soon injured and finds himself hiding behind enemy lines. During this harrowing night, he encounters a mysterious old man (Tamás Varga) whose insights challenge his unwavering loyalty to his country. When captured by Russian forces, Lombos must rely on the old man's guidance to survive amidst chaos and uncertainty.
