Overview

Five diverse student nurses navigate their first year of training at St. Augustine’s Hospital in London, captured on location at Guy's Hospital. Reliable Susan (Belinda Lee) balances the whims of flighty Pat (Delphi Lawrence), while boisterous Irish Maureen (Adrienne Corri) contrasts with the prim Ann (Henryetta Edwards), a public school girl. Liz (Barbara Archer), hailing from a working-class background, rounds out the group.
