Overview

Thirty-year-old Simon, a factory worker, leads a lonely life on a rundown farm in the French countryside. His days revolve around caring for his sister Estelle, who was left severely disabled after a tragic childhood accident. Haunted by guilt and depression, Simon yearns for freedom from their bleak existence. He begins to explore otherworldly forces, believing they might offer a path to liberation for both himself and Estelle, allowing them to escape the physical and emotional confines of their lives.
