Overview

Mert, a self-absorbed and emotionally detached man in his early thirties, navigates the complexities of life in a middle-class Istanbul neighborhood. When he returns to a small town in northeastern Turkey to organize his father's funeral, he confronts the stark contrast between his lofty aspirations and harsh reality. Over the course of three days amidst picturesque tea plantations, Mert evades his problems, only to be faced with a series of painful yet absurd experiences. These moments force him to confront his flaws and confront the deepening fissures in his life, catalyzing an unexpected journey toward maturity.
