Episode Overview

Pascoe finds himself in familiar surroundings when he and his blunt, no-nonsense boss, Detective Superintendent Andy Dalziel, are summoned to Holm Coltram University. However, it’s not the academic prestige that draws Dalziel in, but rather the discovery of a mysterious middle-aged woman's body buried beneath a statue honoring the former head of the college. For Pascoe, this grim find also presents an opportunity to reconnect with Ellie, a lecturer at the university, suggesting their relationship may be ready for a fresh start. Setting up their temporary headquarters in the Principal's study, Dalziel and Pascoe quickly realize that the university hides more secrets than they anticipated.
