Cold Squad
Overview
Cold Squad, a Canadian police procedural that debuted in 1998, followed a specialized unit within the Vancouver Police Department's Homicide Division known as the Cold Squad, which reopened long-dormant cases. Sergeant Ali McCormick (Julie Stewart) led the team. The show's cast shifted frequently, with McCormick as the sole constant across all seven seasons. Between seasons two and three, nearly every other actor was replaced. Alongside the new faces, the show underwent a major overhaul—fresh sets, revamped credits and theme music, and even McCormick's hair color changing from auburn to dirty-blonde.
