The New Avengers
Overview
Set in the mid-1970s, The New Avengers continues the espionage legacy of its 1960s predecessor. This British, French, and Canadian collaboration follows the charismatic John Steed as he assembles a dynamic team to thwart sinister plots threatening global stability. Unlike before, Steed now partners with the resourceful Mike Gambit, a skilled marksman and martial artist, alongside Purdey, a gifted ex-ballet trainee who embodies the strengths of Steed's former female allies. Together, they navigate a world filled with intrigue and danger, combining charm, wit, and action in their quest against evil.
