Episode Overview

Mr. Goldminter promises a substantial reward of gold and the hand of his daughter Lovelace to the victor of his Around the World Race. Determined to teach her father a lesson, Lovelace and her guardian Oscar join the competition. The race features an array of vehicles, such as hovercraft, biplanes, and submarines. Team 4 resorts to cheating, employing spikes on their wheels to gain an advantage. During the first water segment, Lovelace crashes her boat but is rescued from a shark attack by Speed. In the air segment, Team 4 uses a blade and a long cable to take down several planes, including Speed's.
