Episode Overview

After surviving the crash, Speed and Sparky quickly rejoin the other racers. In Antarctica, Speed rescues Lovelace from an icy crevice. Meanwhile, in the Sahara, a fierce sandstorm engulfs the racers. As they approach the final stretch, Speed selflessly shares some of his fuel with Lovelace. When he runs out of gas, Racer X appears to remind Speed of his responsibilities as a professional racer, contrasting his competitive duty with his urge to assist others, and he leaves behind a gas can. Ultimately, Speed clinches victory, becoming the world champion, while Lovelace reveals her true identity to her father.
